Construction and refurbishment of the Santa Joana Convent in Lisbon
Locke de Santa Joana Hotel, near Marquês de Pombal in Lisbon, has 370 rooms, two restaurants, conference rooms, six bars, an outdoor swimming pool, a coworking area, a coffee-shop, meeting rooms and two gym floors, with a total construction area of around 21.000sqm above ground and 4.600sqm below ground.
The project consisted of the conversion and rehabilitation of the existing areas of the former convent, and the construction or reconstruction of three buildings from scratch.
Alphalink was responsible for project management and supervision of the works, and the management of the installation of furniture and equipment.
